Lucia Aronica, PhD
Dr. Lucia Aronica, Ph.D., is Lecturer at the Stanford Prevention and Research Center, Lead Instructor at the Stanford Center for Professional Development, Genomics R&D Lead at Metagenics Inc, and an acclaimed speaker in the field of lifestyle and longevity medicine. Her research and teaching focus on how diet can change gene expression thorough a process called epigenetics, and how we can use this information to design personalized lifestyle interventions for optimal health and longevity. At Stanford, she teaches online certificate courses on a variety of topics in lifestyle and longevity medicine including nutrigenomics, intermittent fasting, and ketogenic diets. Lucia has 15+ years of research experience from the University of Oxford, the University of Vienna, the University Federico II of Naples, the University of Southern California, and Stanford University. She has published research papers in top-ranked peer-reviewed journals such as JAMA, Cell, and Genes and Development.
